This year’s Oceans 2013 Celebration will be held aboard the USS Midway.

So get it on your calendar for 18:30 (6:30PM) the 25th or September to join in on the fun, food, music, entertainment and special quest.
In 2004, the USS Midway opened its gangway to the public and now offers a museum experience like no other. Within moments’ of coming aboard you will be filled with rich history, inspiration and true legacy of those who served the longest-serving Navy aircraft carrier of the 20th century.
Our Celebration includes a tour to 60 exhibits throughout the historic aircraft carrier and 25 restored aircraft – most you can climb aboard. You will be able to live the life of an aviator and jet away in one of the state-of-the-art flight simulators and it is for all ages. There is also a Naval Combat Mission group motion simulator for up to 12 guests at a time weaving through canyons to avoid enemy radar, racing toward your objective, engaging in air-to-air combat, and evading enemy missiles. Too fun!!
For those seeking a slower adventure, spend time with one of the knowledgeable Docents to bring you back in history or just relax and enjoy the beautiful San Diego skyline and mingle with new and old friends. There is something for everyone.
